The HY3D: One Machine. Endless Possibilities.

June 4, 2026

The Falcon HY3D wasn’t created to simply be another yarder it was designed to rethink what a hydraulic yarder could be.

Forestry crews are constantly faced with changing terrain, shifting harvest plans, and the challenge of adapting equipment to suit the block in front of them. Traditional systems often force crews to work around the machine. The HY3D was built to do the opposite.

With its independent three-drum hydraulic winch system, the Falcon HY3D gives contractors the flexibility to configure multiple rope setups from one machine. From north and south bending through to slacklining and live dutchman configurations, operators can adapt faster and work smarter without the need for multiple specialised machines.

But the HY3D story is bigger than rope configurations.

It represents DC Equipment’s ongoing commitment to designing equipment that improves productivity while reducing complexity for crews in the field. The machine combines long rope capabilities, simplified controls, integrated telemetry, real-time camera systems, and intuitive in-cab interfaces into one purpose-built forestry solution.

The result is a machine that helps crews move quicker between blocks, reduce infrastructure requirements, minimise downtime, and tackle difficult terrain with greater confidence.

The HY3D is not just about innovation for the sake of innovation.

It is about giving logging contractors more options, more efficiency, and more control in environments where adaptability matters most.

Because modern forestry demands equipment that can evolve with the operation — and the HY3D was built to lead that future.
